Carmela Giliberto

BOD – San Bernardino County Representative

Carmela Giliberto graduated from CSUSB with a BA in Business with a concentration in Marketing & BS in Nursing. Professionally, Carmela currently works as a business services representative for San Bernardino County’s workforce Development Department.  Prior, she has specialized in the Payment Industry for 20 years, formerly with First Data, Bank of America Merchant Services, Certegy Check Payments, Heartland and Beyond. Carmela owned her own  business as an independent merchant services agent/broker for several business solutions companies such as FISERV and NAB. 

She was a Business Retention Committee ambassador for the City of Ontario, former chapter president of the Executive TEAM chapter in Riverside-Corona and Chairperson for the Fontana Chamber Ambassadors. Carmela is currently a board of Director for the Asian Business Association of the Inland Empire, and President of FACC-TC. She attributes her success to getting to know her clients, understanding their needs and gaining their trust. Her motto is ” no one cares how much you know until they know how much you care”.

Personally, Carmela is an active parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rancho Cucamonga. She is a lector, choir member and President of the Filipino MInistry.  Despite her busy schedule, she prioritizes spending quality time with her family of four and 2 chihuahuas.  They enjoy playing games, watching movies, travelling, cooking and eating together. One quirky fact about Carmela is that she loves to tell jokes to make people laugh so next time you see Carmela, hit her up for one!
